Decanter Fine Wine Encounter 2009, London

Tired but happy I am back from the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter held at The Landmark Hotel in London this past week-end.
Very well organized and attended two days of tasting. About 100 wineries representing all major production countries: Argentina, Australia, Chile, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, USA.
I am really proud and honoured that our DrĂ²mos was part of such distinguished group of prestigious wines.
Among the wines I tasted my two preferred ones: Stonewall Shiraz 2004 by Peter Lehmann and a super delicious Taylor’s Port Vintage 1985.

Talking about leisure time … enjoy the picture of Mawell, the exclusive 2009 Harrods Bear, and Cartier shop in Bond Street.
If you are going to be in London before mid January 2010 I recommend to visit the “Maharaja – the splendour of India’s royal courts” exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum; it is fascinating.
