THE WINE ADVOCATE about the 2006 vintage for Tuscany, Maremma and our Dromos

In the August 31, 2009 issue of THE WINE ADVOCATE by Robert Parker there is a great article titled “Tuscany 2006 and 2007: a new golden age”.
In describing the 2006 vintage the reviewer Antonio Galloni writes “Although 2006 is very strong across the board, I couldn’t help notice that Maremma in particular was graced with a number of simply profound wines that readers won’t want to miss”.
Then at the end of his tasting notes about our Dròmos 2006 he says “ … it is a delicious example of Maremma in this important vintage”.
I like this comment very much; isn’t it great ?
It is another important evidence we are in the right track.

While keeping space in your cellar for Dròmos 06 when released I suggest you continue to enjoy Dròmos 05, winner of Gold medals at the Decanter World Wine Award in London and at the Concours Mondiales de Bruxelles.
All our three wines are among the 441 Tuscan wines reviewed by Antonio Galloni and each one has got a nice review:
- Dròmos 2006: 91
- Dròmos L'Altro - Sangiovese 2007: 89
- PoggioVerrano3 2007: 87

The first time I tasted Dromo's I was so pleasantly surprise that I could not believe it, this wine has been developed with the greatest care you can give the grapes, the tasting start with a nice colour deep and bright, follow with a bouquet full of fruits which take you back to your childhood with your mum making red fruit marmalade, nice and ripe, the start in the month is smooth, well balance, with an explosion of fruits and a long finish, you feel like drinking the all bottle by yourself, however do not forget that wine is to be shared with friends and love one...
